Ah, thanks. As I said, I had no idea that the Logitech remotes worked like that.
So, it looks like I can upgrade the player all I want and maybe even get basic remote commands to work over HDMI CEC, but until I get one of them thar remotes I won't be able to, y'know, open the disc drawer which is kinda crucial.
