Best £20-£30 in ear headphones

Could you carry a small battery powered amp? If you could, some closed-back cans could be quite a good solution, albeit another outlay!

Sadly, that's not really an option. I could run to another £20-£30 for another pair of headphones if they solve all my problems but I don't want to have to carry an amp too (iphone, work Blackberry, wallets, keys etc etc).

Hey guys... I think you are not fitting the PL30/E30 quite right.

There should be no wires popping out from the side of your head. The wiring should run tight over the ear, along the side of your head to the back of the neck.

The wires should run over the ear, down the back of the ear and route to the back of the neck. There is a plastic sleeve on the cable that needs to be slid up to the back of the neck, which keeps the cabling flush against the side of your head. There should be no cable protruding.

See the (rather basic) diagram below:

I find that fitting this way means I don't need to use the supplied silicone ear guides.

Let me know how you get on...

Shaun
