For those who are using the Denon AV3311CI amp: when I watch movies, my volume setting usually does not go above 0 db. The sound filled my living room (about 15 ft x 15 ft) pretty well already. At what volume do you guys usually set when you watch an action movie? My uni-q driver and the other 3 woofers hardly seem vibrating at all even at my volume of 0 db. I wonder how loud do I need to turn my amp up to see them go like those in the video.
One more question: from all the pictures of your home setups... you guys all took off the grilles. Is that just for the pictures? Or you all like to have the grilles off? |
I was really driving the Q900's hard when I took the video, the volume was set at -31db on my Sony STRDB1080 amp

I took the grills off just for the pictures
