I have to agree with the last post, I've yet to see an LCD match up to the spec of the Samsung LED's, from a casual point of view. I'm no tech, I don't adjust the specs lots, but to me it had the best picture.
I wouldn't pay £400-£500 premium, but as I picked up the 6 series 40 inch for £599, I consider this a good price, but I wouldn't pay £1000 for it!
