Well for all those who seem to think no one really cares what they are buying, if that were the case then this forum and the hundreds of others asking what tv to buy and pros and cons wouldnt exist. Personally if I went into a pub and asked for a pint of Guiness and was given a glass of water I would not be too impressed. I discovered the whole LED LCD con and its not acceptable. All they are doing is putting a slice of lemon on the side of the glass and charging a small fortune for the privalege. If you are happy buying because it looks pretty good luck to you. Personally I want to know what I'm buying for my hard earned.. Was looking at LCD after my LG plasma lasted a little over 6 months and expired.. No confidence in LG or Dixons group after the aggro I had getting my dosh back from them. I'm looking to replace and always thought I knew a bit about tv but with the sheer numbers of manufacturers and models available its a bit of a quagmire so any help is more than welcome.. Forgetting power consumption (greenies go hide) which is better .. Plasma, or LCD (or LED LCD) in the 50 to 55 inch bracket?
ps I also suspect a lot getting heated up over the LED LCD thing are people who bought them not realising and getting the hump because they were conned.
