I ditched sky 2 months ago too, though i had to pay/give them 31 days notice
They didnt even try and stop me and my £42 sports package from leaving, and id never before gone cap in hand to them for discounts ever.
Have found freesat (through my sony tv) to be excellent - the world cup and wimbledon were GGRREEEAATTTT.
Apart from the odd footy game, im not really missing sky that much, but i am saving a big wedge every month
Funny thing was....i got a letter from sky 2 days ago offering me free sports for a year if i go back to them....can't say im not a little tempted, but you know what, i'm gonna tell them where to stick it.
Why are they only being nice to me when i've left them ?
I won't go back to the dark side
