I'd be very surprised if this worked at all and I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually capable of damaging your TV.

The product 'reviews' all look fake, two of them from different people actually use exactly the same words.

You can't go from HDMI which is digital to component which is analogue without active electronics in the middle to handle the handshake with the HDMI device and the decoding then the conversion to analogue.

All that for £3.32 and small enough to fit into the HDMI plug would be a miracle
