As it stands my contract ends in January so I would have to wait til October to upgrade. If not I might just cancel and get it on T-Mo.

i agree, being an existing customer means you can get the latest phones for free, depends on what band your on too, but most of the time threaten to cancel and you get what you want and a bit more. my current phone the omnia hd would be around £100 if i was to start afresh with the same tariff.
im tempted to go for an iphone 3gs after selling my current new handset so i would still have a fair amount of £ left over from the sale.
Thing is, is it worth it on the long run? Yes if you want a different phone, but other than that ?
