I did it yesterday and the guy on the other end was brilliant. He cancelled it right away and said the phone was mine to do what I wanted with it.
I signed back with Orange pretty much straight away, I was only using this as a way to get a better deal. The contract I originally had was a special thing so was a fixed price, I changed from £20 for 200 mins and 300 texts to £15 for 100 mins and unlimited texts, and since I text loads this is much better.
My only problem now is I have no phone for the weekend. I tried using an old PAYG sim in my phone and it didn't work. Do Orange lock their phones to contract sims or something?
My concern now is my new contract sim won't work in my phone!
