With the news coming out that Orange are upping their tarriff from 5p to 15p for calls to some numbers this means that Orange customers can get out of their contract, would this be a way of getting a better contract?

I have a Nokia 5800 with Orange and the monthly deal I have isn't exactly the best, but this is because the deal I got was the "Comes With Music" thing and is apparently a contract with Nokia and not Orange. Would I still be able to get out of my contract. Also, because it's done with Nokia and not Orange would I have to send the phone back?

The phone's tied to Orange, but I'd have no problem with getting a new contract and using the same phone, or even getting the phone unlocked if it came to that. I was just wondering if I'd

a) be able to cancel my contract
and
b) be able to keep the phone
